Which materials are commonly used in stainless steel heat preservation tank?
Stainless steel heat preservation tank is widely used in dairy industry, food, pharmaceutical, chemical industry, beverage and other industries, commonly used in the production and use of heating, heat preservation, storage materials. Stainless steel heat preservation tank is made by adding heat preservation layer on the outer layer of stainless steel tank. The selection and quality of heat preservation materials directly affect the heat preservation effect of stainless steel tank. At present, the commonly used heat preservation materials of stainless steel tank include polystyrene heat preservation board, polyurethane foam material and rock wool material.
Polyurethane foam material
It is made of isocyanate and hydroxyl compounds by polymerizing and foaming. By changing the type and composition of raw materials, the shape and properties of the product can be greatly changed, and the final product from soft to hard can be obtained. Polyurethane products have the advantages of light capacity, high strength, heat insulation, sound insulation, fire resistance, cold resistance, corrosion protection, non water absorption, simple and quick construction, etc. the heat preservation effect is particularly good, but the price is also very high. (polyurethane foaming is often used in stainless steel heating tank and hot water tank, with good heat preservation effect, but high cost)
Rock wool
Rock wool is made of natural basalt as the main raw material. After high temperature melting, it is made of artificial inorganic fiber by high-speed centrifugal equipment. At the same time, special binder and dust-proof oil are added, and then it is heated and solidified to produce rock wool insulation products of various specifications and requirements. It has the characteristics of low thermal conductivity and high stability. But now the storage tank uses less rock wool material and more uses foam board material. (rock wool material is commonly used in stainless steel cold water tank and stainless steel storage tank)
Polystyrene resin material
It is a rigid foam insulation board with polystyrene resin as raw material and continuously extruded by special technology. Polystyrene molecular structure itself does not absorb water, there is no gap between the positive and negative sides of the plate, the internal structure is an independent closed bubble structure, with low thermal conductivity, high pressure resistance, moisture-proof, airtight, light weight, corrosion resistance, long service life and other beneficial properties of environmental protection insulation materials. Polystyrene resin is not easy to break, easy to install and cut. In addition, its impact strength is high, even if the foaming time is long, it remains unchanged. (foam board (polystyrene board) is commonly used in FRP water tanks and stainless steel hot water tanks.
When customizing the stainless steel heat preservation tank, the customer can choose the appropriate heat preservation material according to the actual situation, so as to ensure the heat preservation effect of the stainless steel tank equipment.
