What types of homogenizer we have
As the professional milk homogenizer manufacturer, we can produce different types of homogenizer, what are the difference?
Homogenization is the synonym of wet ultrafine grinding. In the field of ultra-fine comminution and homogenization of liquid food materials, in addition to high-pressure homogenization technology, there are also ultra-fine homogenization technology of hydraulic, ultra-fine homogenization technology of ultrasonic, ultra-fine homogenization technology of high shear, etc. Hydraulic homogenization technology is to accelerate the high-pressure liquid (usually greater than 200MPa) through the injector, form a high-speed jet, drive the solid particles in it to move at a high speed, and then form a high-speed collision with the target plate (superhard materials, such as pure ceramics, diamonds or gemstones) or another jet manifold in the opposite direction. Due to the strong impact and ultrasonic vibration generated by diamonds, the solid materials in it are There are two main types of ultra-fine and hydraulic ultra-fine homogenization: target plate type and collision type.
Ultrasonic homogenization technology is to use a specific ultrasonic generator to generate ultrasonic wave in the liquid material. Through the energy transfer and conversion of ultrasonic wave, the liquid will generate ultrasonic vibration. The vibration of high-frequency local pressure (local high pressure can reach more than 800MPa) will be generated inside the vibrating liquid, and the solid particles in the liquid will be refined under the action of alternating pressure.
The shear homogenization technology is mainly developed for some fibrous materials. Due to the high toughness of fibrous materials, it is not easy to be ultra refined under high pressure or ultrasonic environment, while the effective force field is shear force field and grinding force field. Therefore, people use the structure of moving stator rotor and double rotor to realize the super refinement of materials. Its typical homogenizing equipment includes: grinding wheel mill, colloidal mill, high shear homogenizer, etc.
With the continuous understanding and research of homogenization and emulsification, homogenization technology has been developed rapidly. Accordingly, there are many kinds of homogenizers, including high-pressure homogenizer, centrifugal homogenizer, colloid mill, ultrasonic homogenizer and shear homogenizer. They have been widely used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and other industries. Different types of homogenizers have different application ranges. We can choose the corresponding homogenizer according to the different concentration, viscosity and other characteristics of materials. High pressure homogenizer, centrifugal homogenizer and ultrasonic homogenizer have some limitations because of their complex structure, high cost, large energy consumption and inconvenient maintenance. In recent years, high shear homogenizer, with its unique shear dispersion mechanism, low cost, ultra refinement, high quality, high efficiency and other advantages, has been widely used in many industrial fields, and gradually replaced the traditional homogenizer in some fields.
