The difference among milk homogenizer, mixer and emulsifier
What is the difference of milk homogenizer, mixer and emulsifier?
1. The rotor stator of emulsifier is generally made of high-strength cemented carbide, which is similar to two grinding discs in shear movement. Compared with wear resistance, the emulsified effect can be achieved by adjusting the clearance.
The advantages are good mixing effect, suitable emulsion head can be applied to a variety of working conditions, widely used, applicable to a variety of different industries;
The disadvantages are low output, poor mixing effect for hard particles and high viscosity materials.
2. High pressure homogenizer: it is mainly used for mixing two kinds of liquid substances, which is not suitable for mixing solid and liquid substances. Because the homogenizer is mostly plunger type, the solid particles will produce friction to the plunger, and the particles will be stuck at the one-way valve, which will reduce the homogenization effect.
The advantage is good mixing effect;
The disadvantages are high power consumption, low output, easy to break down and high maintenance cost.
3. The high-speed mixer is mainly used for simple mixing, for example, the particles of the material itself do not need to be refined, as long as the simple mixing is enough;
The advantages of the traditional mixing method are large output and wide application,
The disadvantage is that it has no shear refining effect on materials, and can only be mixed simply.
